We are sad to announce that on December 11, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Barbara Charlton of Long Branch, New Jersey. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Barbara is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Barbara's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Roger Knight and Irene Knight; her husband John Jay "Jack" Charlton; and her children, Michael (Melanie) of Florida, Ilene (John) of North Carolina and Steven (Susan) of Ocean Gate. She was also cherished by six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Damiano Funeral Home (191 Franklin Ave, Long Branch, NJ 07740). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
