He was predeceased by: his parents, A. C. Vaughn and Rosetta Warren Vaughn of Cliffwood Beach, NJ; his sister Delores Wilson; and his great grandchild Tyrone Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Malinda Leak Vaughn; his children, Taleshia Y. Vaughn-Good (Tracy) of Edison, NJ, Anthony D. Vaughn of Richmond, VA and Richard Leak of Keasbey, NJ; his grandchildren, Yazier, Shawn Jr., Jalil, Curtis, Anthony, Gabriel and Sanaa; his nieces, Malaika Walker-Winston of Matawan, NJ and Juanita Leak of Avenel, NJ; his goddaughter Alethia L. Johnson of Elizabeth, NJ; and his siblings, Arthur Vaughn (Alethea), Ronald Vaughn (Crystal), Linda Vaughn, Patricia Vaughn, Deborah Vaughn and Marci Vaughn-Rush (Norman). He is also survived by extended family and friends.
