She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond Gierek; and her siblings, Alfred Janusz, Eugenia Zawadski, Bertha Pelka and Emily Bednarz.
She is survived by: her children, Gregg Gierek (Patricia) and Donna Gierek; and her grandchild Ryan Gierek.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Kamienski Funeral Home of Wallington (106 Locust Ave, Wallington, NJ 07057). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Rosary R. C. Church (6 Wall St, Passaic, NJ 07055). A burial was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Nicholas Cemetery (2 Terrace Ave, Lodi, NJ 07644).
