She was predeceased by: her parents, James Elmus Person and Mary Ella Hicks Person; her husband Walter Jones; her siblings, Lillie Person, Berlina Cannady, Ruth White, Marie Beverly, Christine Tharrington and James Robert Person; her daughter Justine E. Person; her goddaughter Sandra Moss; and her friend Francine Hines.
She is survived by: her daughter Ella D. Alston (Larry). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, and nephews.
