She was predeceased by: her husband Virsukhram Smart; her siblings, Rameshchandra Upadhya, Nareshchandra Upadhya, Sureshchandra Upadhya and Sushila Bhutt; and her son Kirit Smart.
She is survived by: her children, Ashwin Smart, Shobhan Smart, Divya Munshi and Ketki Smart. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; and sixteen-great grandchildren.
