John M. Dowd Sr. Obituary
John M. Dowd, Sr., 67 of Lodi passed away on February 28, 2021. Born and raised in Yorkville, NY he lived in Elmwood Park before settling in Lodi twenty years ago. John was a Doorman and worked for Halstead Management in New York City for over twenty years and a member of SEIU 32BJ Union. He was also United States Marine Corps Veteran.
He is preceded in death by his parents John and Rosemary Dowd. Beloved husband of Lisa (nee Maffei). Devoted father of John M. Dowd, Jr. and wife Regina of Independence, MI, Catherine Dowd of Belleville, Rosemary Dowd of Belleville, Nicholas Dowd of Rogers, AR, Linda Dowd of Burlington Flats, NY and Scott Dowd of Miami, Ok.
Loving grandfather of 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Robert, Michael, Thomas, Kathleen, Donald and the late Stephen. Relatives and friends are invited to a Wake Service on Friday from 4:00-8:00 PM at Santangelo Funeral Home, 300 Main St., Lodi.
