She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Cala, Sr.; her son Joseph Cala; her parents, Maria Steccato and Luigi Steccato; and her siblings, Louis, James, Anthony Steccato, Frances Lamberti and Marie Della Penta.

She is survived by: her children, Vincenza "Vini" Flores (Raymond, Marie Gruber) and Robert Cala (Christine). She is also survived by grandchildren, 25 adored great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
