He was predeceased by: his father Edward O'Dowd; and his sister Carol Walling (Brian). He is survived by: his wife Roberta; his sons, Ronald and Stephen O'Dowd; his grandson Joseph "Poochie" O'Dowd; his friend Dennis Duddie; his sisters, Janet Scott (late Larry) and Doris Peluso (Guy); and his sister-in-law Grace Vallese (late George). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, godchildren and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Rochelle Park American Legion Scholarship Fund, 33 West Passaic St., Rochelle Park, NJ 07662.
