She was predeceased by: her parents, John Scimeca and Angelina Scimeca; her spouse Dan, Sr.; and her child John Sassano. She is survived by: her children, Mari-Angela Paterno (Anthony) of Nutley and Dan Sassano, Jr. of Saddle Brook; her grandchildren, Danielle Paterno (David Walsh), April Sauchelli (Mark), Noelle Sassano and Tonianne Paterno; and her siblings, Duke Scimeca and Mary Scimeca.
