She is survived by: her children, Lorenzo Vargas (Marcia), Consuelo Hidalgo (Manuel), Margarita Vargas, Andres Vargas (Kenya), Luis Vargas (Lorenza), Jacqueline Vargas (William Rosario), Rayna Vargas (Eduardo) and Angela Vargas; and her siblings, Rafael Pena, Altagracia Pena and Negro Pena. She is also survived by grandchildren, 12 adored great-grandchildren.
