It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tamara Hordynsky of Livingston, New Jersey, who passed away on November 21, 2024, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Volodymyr; and her daughter Chrystyna. She is survived by: her daughters, Olenka Yurchuk and Ksenia Hapij; and her sons-in-law, Irenaeus Yurchuk, Ihor Hapij and Nicholas Baranetsky. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 8:30 AM to 9:15 AM at the Union Funeral Home - Lytwyn & (1600 Stuyvesant Ave., Union, NJ 07083). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 7:30 PM to 7:45 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church (733 Sanford Ave, Newark, NJ 07106). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the St. Andrew's Ukrainian Cemetery (281 Main St, South Bound Brook, NJ 08880).
