Louis G. La Rocca Jr. Obituary
EAST BRUNSWICK-LOUIS G. LA ROCCA JR. passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at CareOne at East Brunswick. He was 89 years old.
Born in Newark, to Louis G. and Mary Rose (née Bove) LaRocca Sr., he resided in Brick and Livingston before settling down in East Brunswick 3 years ago.
Prior to retiring, he was a civil engineer for Essex County where he worked for many years.
In his leisure time, he enjoyed bowling, working out, and listening to Frank Sinatra.
Louis was predeceased by his brothers, Vincent LaRocca and Angelo LaRocca.
Surviving are his wife of 63 years, Patricia LaRocca (née Guadagno) of East Brunswick; his son, Louis J. LaRocca and his wife, Dona, of East Brunswick; his daughters, Mary Rose Neri of Boonton, NJ, Jaclyn LaRocca of Rock Hill, NY, and Luanne Fernandes and her husband. Rui, of Toms River; and his 12 grandchildren, Joseph, Samantha, Carla, Niko, Dante, Louis, Gia, Mia, Michael, Vincent, Louis, & Giavanna.
Family and friends may visit on Sunday, February 4, 2024, from 2:00-4:00 pm, at The BRUNSWICK MEMORIAL HOME, 454 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Bartholomew R.C. Church, 470 Ryders Lane, East Brunswick, at 11:00 am, followed by an entombment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover. For directions, please see "Events" below.
