He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Marie Dalton; his son John Laurence Dalton; his brothers, Peter and Michael Dalton; and his parents, Laurence Edward Dalton and Maude Dalton.
He is survived by: his daughter Ann Dalton Marvin; and his grandchildren, Matthew Bradley Marvin and Emma Claire Marvin.
