He was predeceased by: his parents, James Pettit and Mary Pettit (Shea); his wife Jocelyn Pettit; and his brother John Pettit. He is survived by: his children, James Pettit (Michelle), Kathleen Davidson, Shirley Giampoala (Joe) and Lisa Korkuch; his siblings, Lawrence Pettit (Pat) and Mimi Finneran (Jim); and his grandchildren, Douglas, Amy, Patrick and Michael. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Gleason Funeral Home (1360 Hamilton St, Somerset, NJ 08873). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
