She is survived by: her parents, Joseph Engels and Margaret Engels; her child Joseph L. Van of Vaarst; her husband Skip; her children, Herman Jeffrey Van of Vaarst and Katrina Slavey (Robert) of West Point, VA; and her granddaughters, Tuppence S. Van of Vaarst, Ireland Van and Cambria-Anne S. Van of Vaarst.
