With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Doyoung Kim of Livingston, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 9, 2024 at the age of 93. He was predeceased by: his parents, Chun Myung and Kyung Ok Kim (Lee); his wife Maria H. Kim; his daughter Lucy Kim; and his brother Gapyoung.
He is survived by: his daughters, Marina Kim, Helena Kim and Rosa Kim (Kiwon Chang); his granddaughters, Jennifer Lee, Katherine Chang and Julia Chang; his great grandchildren, Dante Chang and Sebastian Chang; and his sister Eun Young Kim. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM at the St. Andrew KIM Church (280 Parker Ave., Maplewood, NJ 07040). A Mass was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (225 Ridgedale Ave, East Hanover, NJ 07936).
