He is survived by: his wife Juliette Appio (McDermott); his son James Appio; his daughters-in-law, Idanna Appio of Little Silver and Jennifer Appio of Wanamassa; and his grandchildren, Joseph, Benjamin, Zoe, Emma and Lili Appio.
