He is survived by: his wife Lea Asala (Pilla); his daughter Constance Penabad; his grandchildren, Anthony Asala, Angela Asala, Dominique Patterson and Brian Penabad; and his great grandchildren, Hunter Patterson and Carlos Penabad.
