He is survived by: his wife Judith Ann Tilton; his children, Stephen R. Tilton Jr. (Lisa), Margaret Ann Magaldi (Michael) and Kenneth Benjamin Tilton (Laura); his grandchildren, Stephen Russell III, Jake Raymond, Julia Ann, William Tilton, Sienna Monahan and Estella Phelan; and his siblings, Michael (Barbara), Jane (David Johnson) and Sue (John Sakowski).
Visitation was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Bizub-Parker Funeral Home (47 Main St, Little Falls, NJ 07424). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Cathedral Basilica (89 Ridge St, Newark, NJ 07104).
