He was predeceased by: his parents, John Joseph and Sara Montgomery (Bailey); his wife Isabella (Pennycook); and his siblings, Frederick, William, Mary Smith and Ruth Ammacher.
He is survived by: his child Randy (Maryann Montgomery); and his grandchildren, Randy Philip (Anna Montgomery) and Janelle (Joe Binetti). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
