He was predeceased by: his parents, Farag Hanna and Badeaa Nashed; and his wife Aziza Assad. He is survived by: his sons, Peter (Marlaina) and Tony; his granddaughters, Cassandra and Nadia; his brother Gamil Hanna (Afaf Hanna); and his sister-in-law Nawal Youssef. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and their children.
In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Ayad may be made to Alzheimer's foundation.
