He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosario and Maria; his daughter Karen Marie; his brother Frank; his brothers-in-law, Werner Hockenmaier and Wilfried Schenkel; and his nephew Angelo Lupardo.
He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Marie (Hockenmaier); his children, Steven, Michael, Nickolas Jr. (Christine) and Jean Zagorski (Arthur); his grandchildren, Nickolas III, Collette (Martin) and Bryant; his siblings-in-law, Helmuth Hockenmaier (Lot Lot), Carol Schenkel and Helen Lupardo (Charles); his nieces and nephews, Paolo, Christopher, Mark, Concetta, Mary, Kim and Charles Jr.; and his cousins, Mary Accardi and Frank (Eileen).
Due to COVID-19 the funeral home is operating at 25% occupancy capacity as per NJ executive order.
