He was predeceased by: his wife Susan Porter; and his parents, Alvin and Dorothy. He is survived by: his children, Jacqueline Kaari of Hudson, OH, Steven Porter (Karen) of Toms River, NJ, Mari Considine (Michael) of Woolwich, NJ, Amanda Mulligan (James), Alison Porter (NJ), Donald Mathis (Jennifer) of Montclair, NJ and Kimberly Andersson (Mikael) of Wiscasset, ME; and his grandchildren, Jennifer, Jessica, Rachel, Sophia, Max, Mazzy, Daniel, Katie, David and Linnea.
