He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Wells and Olive Wells; his daughters, Susan Penney Wells and Joanne Carol Wells; his siblings, Fred Wells, Bob Wells, Donald Wells, Hubert Wells, Grace Bundock and Joyce Rynander; and the mother of his children Joanne Wells.

He is survived by: his wife Lorraine; his daughters, Vickie Paver (William) of Manchester, NJ, Christine Wells (Michael Flannery) of Brick, NJ and Debbie Natiello (Herk Jobes); his siblings, Roy Wells, Linda Greco and Norma Mackie; his grandchildren, Michael (Michele), Steven (Lisa), Billy Ern (Rachel), Johnny and Casey; his great grandchildren, Alyssa, Ryan, Tianna and Peyton; and his brother-in-law Herbert Marcellino (Joan). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
