Edward Thornton Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward Thornton (Little Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey), born in Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on August 19, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Thornton and Emily Thornton; and his daughters, Cheryl Procini and Susan Thornton. He is survived by: his wife Gail Thornton; his children, Tracey Bednash (Lenny) of Towaco, NJ and Scott Thornton (Shannon) of Middleburg, FL; his brother Steve Thornton (Louise) of Lincoln, RI; and his grandchildren, Trevor, Olivia Bednash, Michael Epley, Melissa Corrigan, Emily Thornton, Ryan Thornton, Josh Thornton and Amy Mayer. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren and several loving nieces and nephews.
