He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick McCann and Florence McCann; his wife Ann McCann; his son William J. McCann, Jr.; and his siblings, Frederick McCann, Patricia Stappen, Jane Boomershein, Carol Price, Molly Geist and Nancy Berkowitz.
He is survived by: his daughter Laura (Kevin Redmond) of Linwood, NJ; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Kristina and Andrew; and his brothers, Donald McCann (Carol) and Charles McCann.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Godfrey Funeral Home of Palermo (644 South Shore Rd., Palermo, NJ 08223). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Seaside Cemetery (559 S Shore Rd, Marmora, NJ 08223).
