He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman F. Sr and Elizabeth Fairbrothers; his children, Norman F. III and Carole Larned; his grandson John Orlando Jr.; and his brothers, Jimmy, Russell, Louis and Walt.
He is survived by: his wife Diane S. Lutz; his daughters, Diana Blansett and Sharon Orlando; and his siblings, David, Ralph, Linda, Betty, Mary and Marilyn. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
