He was predeceased by: his wife Judie A. Shaw. He is survived by: his cousin Roberta Benjamin; and his stepchildren, Buz Findeison, Linda Paone, Cindy Whitcraft, Robin Weidman and Fran Lafferty. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
