He was predeceased by: his parents, John Foss and Frances Foss; and his wife Kathryn Watson Foss. He is survived by: his children, Kathryn Lilly (Jim), John Foss (Priscilla) and Christine Hess (Tony); his grandchildren, Katie Kealey (Ryan), Taylor Dutil (Lucas), Alyssa Foss, Johnny Foss, Dane Foss, Jack Hess and Maggie Hess; and his great grandchild Brooke Kealey. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, great grandchild, and friends.
