He was predeceased by: his parents, Myrtle McConnell and William McConnell; his son Errol D. Jr.; his brother William Jr.; and his grandson Thomas Michael McAteer.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Ellen Brogan, John McConnell, James Wilson (Barbara), Joanne Schoenstein (Jim), Steve Wilson (Lori), Barbara Leuzzi (Carmen) and Carol Cappuccio (Joe); and his sister-in-law Carol Ellis (John). He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
