The passing of Donald B. Vass (Linwood, New Jersey) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on January 14, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Vass and Edna Vass (Boyce); and his siblings, Warren Jr., Robert, Larry, Barbara Jean and Marjorie (Estes).
He is survived by: his wife Angela Aveni; his children, Donald Vass (Amy), Lori Kent (Harry) and Jennifer Mansueto (Matthew); and his grandchildren, Tim Reed (Lindsay), Tighe Reed (Abrielle), Boyce Vass (Rachel), Quinn Vass, Luke Mansueto, Zack Mansueto, Elia Mansueto, Shannon Hall and Shaun Kent. He is also survived by four great-granddaughters.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Sorrows Church (724 Maple Ave, Linwood, NJ 08221). A Mass will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Friends Central Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Donald B. Vass Library and Community Center, honoring Don's enduring commitment to the Linwood community.
