He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy; his son Dennis McGurk, Jr.; his daughter-in-law Oksana McGurk; and his brothers, Joseph McGurk and Jimmy McGurk.
He is survived by: his spouse Dottie; his daughters, Tina Whitmore and Maureen Wyvill; his grandchildren, Deva Whitmore, Joseph Wyvill, Stephanie Wyvill and Daniel Wyvill; his sisters, Mary Dwyer, Alice Flandreau and Rita McGurk; and also, Clare McSorley, Kathleen Wilkins and Betty Anne Harris. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
