He was predeceased by: his parents, Pauline Schlemo and Albert Schlemo of Northfield; and his niece Tracy Crimi. He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his children, Kourtney (Matthew Corbo), Kelly (David Hainsworth) and Paul Schlemo; his grandchildren, Michaela, Graham and Aidan Schlemo; and his siblings, Barbara Sowers (Bill) and Robert.
