He was predeceased by: his parents, Bronislaw "Bill" Schmidt and Emma Schmidt; his spouses, Linda A. Schmidt and Jean V. Schmidt; and his siblings, Ruth Creuthers, Robert Schmidt, Geraldine Alkins and William Schmidt.

He is survived by: his daughters, Carlene Tanner (Shari Effman), Barbara Ward (John), Kimberly Schmidt Kniveton (Michael) and Donna Guzman (Jerry); his sister Monica Palmieri (Jim); his grandchildren, Michael, William, Joshua, Rebecca, Steven and Barbara; and his great grandchildren, Ella, Brayden, Evelynn, Alannah, Charlotte, Jonathan, Ethan, Delilah and Mila.

In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Stan to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
