He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Therese Gibbs; his parents, Robert Gibbs and Sophie Gibbs; his children, Nicole Walsh (Steven), BreeAnn Gibbs, Kelly Gibbs-Davis (Rishawn) and Devon Gibbs; his siblings, Mary Gigliotti, Robert Gibbs Jr. and Mark Gibbs; and his grandchildren, Nizaiah, Mekhi, Arieel, Max, Zamari, Zina, Zyan and Azyla.

David was a huge Philadlephia Eagles fan, in lieu of flowers the family is requesting contributions in his name to the Eagles Charitable Foundation at Novacare Complex 1 Novacare Way, Philadelphia PA 19145.
