She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Lee Pridgen, Sr. and Hilda Grace Dawson Pridgen; her sister Virgina Goff; her children, Sean T. Garris and LaTasha A. Garris; her granddaughter Amiyah Londyn; and her siblings, Shelia J. Griffin, Maurice C. Pridgen and Marion Lee.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Jada R. Garris, Tiana Garris, Keyon I. Tanner and Deshawn Pitman-Garris; her godchildren, Jerome Jones-Waits, Shondell Holmes and Shamirah Hurling; her sisters, Carla Y. Pridgen, Chevonne Bogard-Pridgen, Regina Coleman, Betty Lee Jones and Willette Martin; her great-uncles and great-aunts, Wilhelmina Edward, Frances Wynn, Evelyn Pridgen, Vera Pridgen, James, Will, Roger Dixon, Chester Pridgen and Lonnie Dawson; her uncle Mike; and her friend Tyrone Underwood. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Zion Temple Pentecostal Church (31 E 18th St, Linden, NJ 07036). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Rosehill Cemetery (792 E Edgar Rd, Linden, NJ 07036).
