She was predeceased by: her son Perry Gates. She is survived by: her children, Robert Gates (Julie), Joseph Gates (Gena) and Lorraine Hutchinson (Robert); and her brother Henry Schieferstein. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pettit-Davis Funeral Home (371 W Milton Ave, Rahway, NJ 07065). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
