He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis D. and Mary J. Scalza (Branchillo); and his sister Mary Ann Cataline (Scalza). He is survived by: his siblings, Frank and Helen Scalza; and his friend Albert. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

“I would like to give my condolences to the scalza family, Albert and his family lived in the house behind mine in Linden, I grew up and went to school with Albert, he was a good friend and will be missed. I remember him and the late lenny Matlosz they were like brothers at times. I am very sad to hear about his passing but i know he is at peace next to his mom, dad, and sister maryann, so in closing i just want to say GOD SPEED ALBERT, until we meet again.”
