Richard Winters Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Winters of Lincroft, New Jersey, who passed away on January 26, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Richard may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his wives, Dorothy Kite Winters (Dolly) of Lincroft, N. J. and Eleanor D. Winters of Lincroft, N. J.; his daughter Nancy Lynn Farr; his stepson Gary Williamson (Georgette); and his parents, Elizabeth M. Winters of Chapel Hill, N. J. and Carl H. Winters of Chapel Hill, N. J..
He is survived by: his daughter Mary Dale Kerr (Bob) of Frisco Texas; his stepchildren, Nancy Bard (Jeff) of Annapolis and Steve Williamson (Cheryl) of Levittown; and his son-in-law Biff. He is also survived by four Grandchildren, seven step Grandchildren, seven Great Grandchildren and four step Great Grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the New Monmouth Baptist Church (4 Cherry Tree Farm Rd, New Monmouth, NJ 07748).
