He was predeceased by: his parents, Dora Turner and Louis Turner (Tournas); and his siblings, Ellen Philpitt, Kay Ducey, Mary Holt, George and Nick Turner.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Bulanowski Turner (Peggy); his daughter Elizabeth Turner Cogger; his son-in-law Brian Cogger of Lincroft; his grandchildren, Katherine Grace Cogger and Luke Theodore Cogger; and his sister Bess Turner Chappas of Savannah. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Due to COVID-19, services will be private for the immediate family at the Holmdel Funeral Home and at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, please do what Pete would have suggested… go outside and enjoy a walk in the woods or donate to a bird or nature conservation charity of your choice.
