He was predeceased by: his brother Alfred Haftel. He is survived by: his wife Alma Haftel; his children, Dennis Haftel (Kathy Hurley Connolly) of Shrewsbury, Susan Haftel of Rahway and Valerie Haftel (Jennie Soria) of Atlanta; and his siblings, Robert Haftel and Carol Haftel. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
