He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Best and Rev. Zeno Coley; and his siblings, Doris Coley Jackson and Leodie Coley. He is survived by: his sisters, Ernestine Coley Francies of Passaic, N. J. and Agnes Coley of Saddle Brook, N. J..

He resided in Lincoln Park, N. J., and lost his life as a result of the COVID19 pandemic.
