Edward J. Dering Jr. Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edward J. Dering Jr. (Lincoln Park, New Jersey), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 11, 2025 at the age of 79. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Dering and Elizabeth Dering. He is survived by: his sisters, Joyce Salvato and Elizabeth Primamore; his nieces, Julie Salvato, Betty Salvato, Donna Bisbal (Primo Bisbal) and Suzanne Vecchi (Jerry Vecchi); his nephew Jerry Primamore; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jennifer Guerino, Lisa Jordan, Ashley Guerino, Amanda Guerino, Kristina Guerino, Nicole Benenato, Danielle Frese, Nicholas Kent, William Benenato, Joseph Benenato, Andrew Benenato, Jerry Primamore, Joseph Primamore and Brittney Vecchi. He is also survived by 6 great great nieces and nephew.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Scanlan's (781 Newark Pompton Turnpike, Pompton Plains, NJ 07444). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Joseph's Church (216 Comly Rd, Lincoln Park, NJ 07035). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Forest Green Park Cemetery (535 Texas Rd, Morganville, NJ 07751).
