He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry S. Carter and Gladys Ashenbremer Carter; his sons, Matthew Carter and Bryan Jupin; and his siblings, Donald Carter and Dolores Hurst.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Carter; his children, Stephanie Powers (Mickey), Mike Jupin, Tonya Heaton (Joe) and Artie Green; and his grandchildren, Pauly, Zach, Alyssa, Joey, Nate, Bryn, Mitch, Karley, Gavin, Garrett, Ariana, Connor, Addison and Makayla. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many other family members.
