He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor and Catherine. He is survived by: his brother Denis; and his sister-in-law Linda (Michele).

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Dangler (312 W Main St, Boonton, NJ 07005). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church (910 Birch St, Boonton, NJ 07005).

Memorial donations may be made in Richard's name to: Our Lady of Mount Carmel School, 205 Oak Street, Boonton, NJ 07005, or to a charity of your choice.
