He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Mastrolia and Carmela Mazziotta; his wife Mary Di Genova Mastrolia; and his siblings, Joseph (Rose), Antonio, Pasquale, Maria and Palma.
He is survived by: his friend Anthony Perna; his daughters, Carmela (Russell Surace) of Hillsborough, Margaret Anne Cozzarelli of Nutley and Maria (Arthur Muth) of Hillsborough; his grandchildren, Nicole (Jonathan Bryan), John Paul Cozzarelli, Alexandra (John Bastardo), Russell Surace, Nicholas Cozzarelli, Michael Surace, Marc Cozzarelli, Jessica Muth and Angela Surace; his great grandchild Delia Margaret Bryan; and his sister Domenica Benevenga of Nutley. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
