He was predeceased by: his parents, Sirouhie and Sarkis; and his son Haig Shahinian. He is survived by: his wife Catherine; his children, Victoria Shahinian (Kris), Natalie Cahill (Marc), Araz Shahinian (Nicole) and Michael Shahinian (Wayne); and his sister Lucy Cronenberg (Don).
