She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Cruts and Anna Cruts; her husband Ted Elder; her daughter Catherine Elder; and her siblings, Frances Fell Cruts, Honey Rush, Dolly Timmer, Frank Cruts and Charles Cruts.
She is survived by: her son Jim Elder (Alyson); her grandchildren, Meghan Hill (Jeff), Brittany Friedel (Justin) and Christopher Elder (Armani); and her great grandchildren, Jamie, Micah, Maddon Hill, Axel, Duke and Cash Friedel.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Knoll-DeVoe Funeral Home & Cremation Service (142 W Washington Ave, Washington, NJ 07882). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Church of St. Ann (6 Church St, Hampton, NJ 08827).
