She was predeceased by: her husband Isaac Sankar; her parents, Lachman Toolsie and Rookmin Toolsie; and her siblings, Jugundaye Harricharan, Hardeo Toolsie and Ramdeo Toolsie.
She is survived by: her daughters, Dr. Vidya Sankar of Boston, MA, Vishma Sankar-Parry (Shawn Parry) of Yardley, PA, Vashtie (Mathew Coefer) of Hamilton Square, NJ and Vindira (David Pelton) of Lawrenceville, NJ; and her grandchildren, Zachary, Kyra Parry, Anabella, Timothy Coefer, Luke, Maya and Mia Pelton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
