He was predeceased by: his wife Rhoda; his parents, Leo Brody and Jeanne Finkle Brody; his grandson Seth Brody; and his siblings, Joan Brody Hellerman and Herbert Brody.
He is survived by: his children, Dr. Jeanne Brody (William Foley) and Dr. Richard Brody (Carrie); and his granddaughters, Caroline Foley Newell (Andy Newell), Juliette Foley (James Kelly) and Savannah Brody. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
